General driving bans Austria
Three types of driving bans for trucks apply in Austria:
Weekend driving ban: this applies to all trucks and truck combinations with a total weight of more than 3.5 tons and for trucks without a trailer and trucks with a trailer with a total weight of 7.5 tons. The weekend ban takes effect on Saturday at 3 p.m. and is valid until Sunday 10 p.m.
Night driving ban: this ban applies from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. This applies to all trucks with a train weight of more than 7.5 tonnes (also for empty wagons). During generally recognized public holidays, the driving ban applies between 00:00 and 22:00.
Holiday driving ban: prohibition applies during the holiday period for a certain number of (busy) through routes for vehicles with a weight of more than 7.5 tons. It applies on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then changes into the normal weekend ban. This prohibition is only in effect from July 1 to August 31. Trucks equipped with clean and low-noise engines can be exempted from the driving ban. Furthermore, Austria has a number of local driving restrictions.

We have daily departures from the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria with groupage shipments and full loads. With or without double deck trailers. This shipping method allows us to save transport costs for you.
Loading can be done from the side or the rear, with the variable heights of the adjustable floor. for example, you can use an extra second floor at a maximum height of 220cm. To be loaded by means of a stacker / forklift truck with “free height” with a height in the trailer of 300cm. But can also be unloaded from the side by using curtain sides.
